Readership Survey

During March 2014, a survey was issued to all the known users of Driver, Vehicle, Operator and Enforcement Statistics (DVOESR), and was open for completion from 5th March 2014 to 30th June 2014.

The survey was designed to provide detail on how users are made aware of the release of the latest driver, vehicle, operator and enforcement statistics, to provide a greater understanding of who the users of our data are, what they use the data for, what they think of the range of data published, and to gauge satisfaction with the presentation and content of the DVOESR.  This is in line with the requirements of the Code of Practice for Official Statistics produced and monitored by the UK Statistics Authority.

ASB would like to thank all the respondents who took the time to complete the survey and provide us with valuable feedback.

The results from this survey are available below for your information. They will be used to evaluate the current presentation and content of the DVOESR and to help identify any areas where there is scope for improvement.  It is hoped that this summary report will be of interest to our users and stakeholders.

If you have any questions relating to the survey please contact us

ASB User Consultation ‘DOE Driver, Vehicle, Operator and Enforcement Statistics, Annual Report’- Need for separate Quarter 4 figures’
