Freedom of Information - What we publish

Our publications are organised into classes of information in line with the Information Commissioner's guidance on Departmental Publication Schemes. This site is currently being populated.

The information contained within these classes will be retained in line with the Department's retention and disposal schedules. The classes of information are structured within the following categories:

Classes for Planning Customer Information

Class: Planning Application Files
Description: All information that relates to planning appications received by the Department on or after 19 November 2001, unless subject to an exemption.
Class: Planning Service Application Forms
Description: All current application forms that are required to be completed in advance of the Department's Planning Service completing a public service e.g. granting planning permission. Please note due to security or copyright issues, not all forms may be available electronically.
Class: Planning Service FAQ
Description: This section relates to questions frequently asked of Planning Service.
Class: Planning Service Information Leaflets
Description: Leaflets published by Planning Service to inform the public about planning procedures
Class: Planning Service Strategy and Policy Documents
Description: Current strategy and policy statements from Planning Service that have received Ministerial and/or Board approval.
