Our publications are organised into classes of information in line with the Information Commissioner's guidance on Departmental Publication Schemes. This site is currently being populated.

The information contained within these classes will be retained in line with the Department's retention and disposal schedules. The classes of information are structured within the following categories:

Description:

Class: Departmental Policy Statements
Description: All current Ministerial and/or Board approved and announced statements relating to Departmental policies.

Class: Equality Impact Assessment
Description: The results of any equality impact assessment undertaken by the Department on or after April 2001.
Class: Key Plans and Strategies
Description: All current Departmental key plans and strategies which have received Ministerial and/or Board approval.

Class: Public Consultation
Description: Documents relating to major policy development issues and legislation changes that have been issued for public comment on or after April 2001. (Individual responses to consultation are available on request - except those supplied in confidence.)

Class: Public Inquiries
Description: Information relating to a Public Inquiry held after 1 April 2002, once a final decision has been made.

Class: Regulatory Impact Assessments
Description: The results of any regulatory impact assessment undertaken by the Department on or after April 2001, as part of the drafting and/or implementation of Legislation, where that Legislation is likely to have a direct or indirect impact on business, charities or the voluntary sector.
