Sub-Groups A and B
Between 2007 and 2008, two Sub-Groups were formed by the Strategic Leadership Board (SLB). Their purpose was to take forward the modernisation of local government and their work led on from recommendations from the previous nine Taskforce Sub-Groups.
Sub-Group A focused on strengthening local government. Sub-Group B’s main emphasis was on improving the way local government works. Further, detailed information can be found through the links below.
The Policy Development Panels (PDPs) now continue to take forward the work and recommendations of the two Sub-Groups.
