Finance Sub-Group

Background
The aim of the Finance Sub-Group was to consider and report on a range of issues (including transitional matters) that will have an impact on current and future financing arrangements for local government.

In relation to how local government will be funded after the transfer of functions, the Group considered:

• fees

Further Developments

The Sub-Group’s findings and recommendations are now being led forward by the Policy Development Panels (PDPs).
