Continuous Improvement
The Local Government (Best Value) Act (NI) 2002 came into effect on 01 April 2002. The Act requires district councils to make arrangements for continuous improvement.

This relates to how their functions (for example, services to ratepayers and the use of council services) are carried out, taking into account economy, efficiency and effectiveness.
