Transition CommitteesTransition Committees There are 11 voluntary Transition Committees, one for each of the proposed new councils. These Committees will plan and prepare key activities to make sure there are 11 effective councils in place for the changeover. Key responsibilities of voluntary Transition Committees include:
Each Committee is made up of elected members from the district councils which will form the new councils. The Committees, in turn, are supported by Transition Management Teams (TMTs). Guidance for Transition Committees
