FinanceThe aim of the Finance subgroup was to consider and report on a range of issues (including transitional issues) that will have an impact on current and future financing arrangements for local government. The group (which included representatives from central government, local government and representatives of the 5 main political parties) began its work in April 2006. Recommendations to the Taskforce The recommendations from the Subgroup represented the thinking of key stakeholders on the key issues, to help inform the decisions of the Taskforce.
