NORTHERN IRELAND CRC ENERGY EFFICIENCY SCHEME APPEALS GUIDANCE

The purpose of this web-page is to clarify Northern Ireland specific details in relation to appeals made here. This web-page should be read in conjunction with the Appeals Guidance referred to above.

   1. The NI CRC Appeal Body is the Minister of the Environment whose office is located at Clarence Court, 10-18 Adelaide Street, Belfast BT2 8GB.

   2. The NI CRC Appeals Secretariat (supporting the Minister) is the Climate Change Unit in the Department of the Environment (DOE). This unit is located on the 6th floor, Goodwood House, 44-58 May Street, Belfast BT1 4NN. Email: climate.change@doeni.gov.uk

   3. All NI appeals should be lodged with the Appeals Secretariat at the above address.

   4. If DOE, or an agency within DOE, or a body in receipt of funding from DOE makes an appeal, the Appeal Body will be the Delegated Person as advised in paragraph 10 of the Appeals Guidance. The Appeals Secretariat will be unaffected and any such appeals should be submitted to it in the first instance.
