Climate Northern IrelandSuccess in meeting the challenge of a changing climate depends on the development of actions in partnership across Northern Ireland. The partnership was established in March 2007. Its purpose is to raise awareness and an understanding of the issues across a range of sectors, in order to prepare for the effects of climate change. The partnership consists of representatives from central and local government, the business community, the voluntary sector and professional organisations. Secretariat support to Climate Northern Ireland is currently provided by the Scottish & Northern Ireland Forum for Environmental Research (SNIFFER). Climate Northern Ireland publish a quarterly newsletter to keep you informed of the latest news.
