Prestigious Award

The Northern Ireland Environment Agency has won a prestigious award to mark the success of its Noise Awareness Campaign.

The John Connell Award gives recognition to organisations that are outstanding in their efforts to reduce the impacts of noise nuisance on the quality of our environment. NIEA representatives were presented with the 2005 award by Lord Whitty of Camberwell at a ceremony in the House of Commons.
