Natural Environment
In working to conserve Northern Ireland's natural environment DOE is concerned with wildlife, species and their habitats with rocks, sediments, landforms and rural landscapes on a broader scale.
The Natural Environment Unit within Planning and Environmental Policy Group works with various bodies including our colleagues in the Environment & Heritage Service to develop and implement a wide range of government policies in Northern Ireland.
