Water Information Days
As part of the consultation process preceding and contributing towards the finalisation of the River Basin Management Plans in December 2009, NIEA have organised a series of Information Days aimed at providing the public with the opportunity to:
- Speak with NIEA staff about draft River Basin Plan proposals to improve the water environment - and let them know about any community run initiatives that may help the process;
- Search an interactive web map to find out more about local rivers, lakes, coastal waters and groundwaters;
- Identify insects and see how they can be used as indicators of water pollution;
