WFD Water Matters - Evening MeetingsWater Matters - have your say at a local meeting You are invited to a debate on the key problems affecting the waters in your local area (or "catchment") and to help find and deliver solutions to protect and sustain our rivers, lakes, estuaries, seas and groundwater. During the autumn, DOE through the Environment & Heritage Service are hosting 9 evening meetings across Northern Ireland, to give individuals and local groups the opportunity to get together and talk about the issues raised in the Water Matters booklet. Whether you run a farm or an industrial business, are a member of an angling club or a conservation group, are involved in a community group or just want to know more about your local water environment, come along to the nearest meeting and have your say! The dates and venues for each area are given below, along with a map of the catchment areas. Each meeting will begin at 7.00pm.
