Conservation of the Historic Environment
To ensure our historic monuments and buildings stay in good condition we have a range of initiatives in place to support their ongoing repair, maintenance and conservation. We do this through our Conservation Works Team, or by offering management agreements, grant-aid, or guidance to owners.
We also provide advice in response to consultation from other government departments, such as Planning Service
or Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD), to ensure our built heritage is conserved to the best possible standard.
