Mountsandel

Brian Black joins our archaeologist Lorraine Bourke at Mountsandel, just south of Coleraine, the oldest known site of people's presence in Ireland.

Brian also learns more about a beautiful piece of Iron Age art known as the Bann Disc that was recovered during dredging at Loughinisland became the logo for the Ulster Museum, where it is still on display.

Loughnashade Trumpet

Brian Black explore Loughnashade with our archaeologist Lorraine Bourke and learns more about 4 horns recovered from the lake in 1978.

Killrooskagh

Brian Black and Flub join our archaeologist Claire Foley at Kilrooskagh, near Belcoo, which means 'church in the marsh' where there are the remains of a portal tomb built by people in the new Stone Age.

St Lasser's Cell

Our archaeologist Claire Foley and Brian Black visit the cell reputed to have been used by a hermit named St Lasser for contemplation and prayer.

Clyhannagh

Brian Black and canine companion Flub join our archaeologist Claire Foley at Clyhannagh, a burial site - a long, six chambered court tomb dating back 5000 years.

Drumquin Trackway

Our archaeologist James Bamford and Brian Black explore one of the first roadways in the country at Drumquin bog.

Keenaghan Abbey
