State of the Environment

Last updated: 2 April 2010

The State of the Environment Report 2008 is a comprehensive report that gives up to date accurate data on different aspects of the environment. It is used to highlight the short falls of the environment in Northern Ireland as well as its strengths. The report is only a guide to inform both business and the public about the condition of both the natural and built environments. It gives the key challenges that the environment faces outlining the current state, trends and causes if known.

These fact sheets summarise the main themes covered by the report and give detail of where you can find out more information.
