Coastal and Marine Biodiversity Delivery Group

In 2005, the Environment and Heritage Service (EHS) completed a suite of coastal and marine habitat and species action plans.  These plans detail a range of targets and actions for government departments and agencies to undertake so to protect biodiversity throughout our coastal zone.

The main objectives of the coastal and marine habitat and species action plans are:

To co-ordinate work more effectively, so to ensure that objectives of the coastal and marine habitat and species action plans are progressed successfully, EHS has established a Coastal and Marine Biodiversity Group.
