In line with the Waste Management Licensing Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003, we are responsible for the delivery and regulation of waste activities in Northern Ireland.
We are also responsible for the administration and enforcement of the following:

- Waste Management Licensing
- Waste Management Licensing Exemptions
- Hazardous Waste
- Producer Responsibility
- Packaging Waste
- Packaging Waste, Accredited Reprocessors and Exporters
- End of Life Vehicles
- Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
- Transfrontiers Shipment of Waste
