Creation of National Stakeholder Forum

At a workshop on Stakeholder Participation in April 2005, the Terms of Reference for a National Stakeholder Forum were established and shortly afterwards the Membership of the National Stakeholder Forum was agreed upon. The membership of the Forum covers a wide range of areas including environment, industry, agriculture and conservation.

The first meeting of the National Stakeholder Forum was held on the June 30th, 2005 and aims to meet on a quarterly basis.

The membership is split into active members and corresponding members. Active members are those able to attend the meetings; corresponding members are those that do not have the time or resources to attend but still wish to be kept informed by being sent the minutes and any papers produced.
