MVRUS - Practical Riding test
This is a skills test. The rider is expected to carry out checks on the vehicle, start the vehicle, and negotiate safely the tasks set out below.

- Look(and listen) to see if there is enough fuel.
- Check brakes front and rear
- Check tyres, look for wear and cuts

- Apply rear brake and remove from stand

Skills test Figure of eight Two parallel lines, 10m long, are drawn 3m apart. The rider has to form a figure of eight within the boundary of these lines. This should be done in a confident and well controlled manner
Braking Box4 cones are set out to form a rectangle 5 metres by 3 metres.
The candidate should travel at approximately 15 mph and bring the machine to a controlled stop within the rectangle formed by the cones. For full marks, at no time should the wheels lock on the machine nor should it deviate from a straight course.
