Road Safety Strategy to 2010
The Northern Ireland Road Safety Strategy 2002-2012 sought to promote an integrated approach to the planning, co-ordination and delivery of the Government’s road safety activities over the period. It aimed at a one third reduction in the number of people killed or seriously injured each year on Northern Ireland roads by 2012 (compared to the 1996-2000 average).
