Road Safety Funding

Northern Ireland voluntary and community organisations awarded £140,000 in road safety grants

The DOE has appointed the Community Transport Association (CTA) to manage the 2012/13 Road Safety Funding Programme which channels grant funding directly to the front line activities of local communities.

CTA will officially launch this funding programme on 25^th May 2012 with a call for applications from voluntary & community sector groups.

CTA awards grants to a diverse range of organisations that have both a concern about road safety and can deliver a community-led project within a limited timeframe.

The CTA in Northern Ireland promotes excellence by providing a wide range of services and support, including advice, training, e-based resources, publications, consultancy, events and project support for voluntary, community and accessible transport.
